Division Grounds These are the grounds that belong to each Division. There are barracks, mess halls, and other things located in each one. The headquarters of each Captain are also usually located in their respective barracks. 1st Division Grounds, 2nd Division Grounds, 3rd Division Grounds, 4th Division Grounds, 5th Division Grounds, 6th Division Grounds, 7th Division Grounds, 8th Division Grounds, 9th Division Grounds, 10th Division Grounds, 11th Division Grounds, 12th Division Grounds, 13th Division Grounds	0	0
Shinō Academy The Shinō Academy is the main academy of the Gotei 13 and is overseen by the 13th Division. It is a sprawling facility with courtyards, classrooms, dormitories, and practice areas for the four Shinigami arts. Students are taught how to control their Reiatsu, how to communicate with their Zanpakutō, the four Shinigami arts, and general duties of a Shinigami. The academy's standard curriculum is taught over six years, though it is possible to petition for early graduation. Upon graduating, students apply to join one of the Divisions or by scouted by one.	0	0
Sōkyoku Hill & Senzaikyū Perhaps the most noticeable feature from a distance, this plateau-like hill and its adjoining white tower sit in the middle of the Seireitei. The hill is visible from most of Seireitei. It has sheer cliffs on all sides. There are two known access points to the Sōkyoku Hill—a long bridge connecting to the Senzaikyū (懺罪宮, Palace of Penitence), and a long, zigzagging stairway carved into one side of the hill. One end of the hill is heavily undercut, where the Sōkyoku and the bridge are located. The opposite end is covered by a white forest. Sōkyoku Hill is where the execution device known as the Sōkyoku (双殛; Twinned Punishment) is kept and used. This method of execution is left only for the most heinous of crimes. Those awaiting execution (either by the Sōkyoku or other methods) are held in the large, white tower known as the Senzaikyū. The Senzaikyū, like the walls of the Seireitei, is lined with Sekkiseki stone.	0	0
Daireishokairō The Daireishokairō (大霊書回廊, Great Spirit Book Gallery) is the central repository of information and knowledge within the Soul Society. Although it appears to be a nondescript (though well-guarded) building from the outside, the building is actually an octagonal pit with a moving central platform that allows access to the countless volumes contained within. Entry to the Daireishokairō is restricted, and few Captains are familiar with its inner workings. The curation of this library is part of the 3rd Division's duties.	0	0
